Awards | Nominatie bruidsfotoaward 2014

Goed nieuws! Ik ben genomineerd voor de bruidsfotoaward! Uit 2400 inzendingen is mijn beeld gekozen voor een nominatie in de categorie groepsportret.

Deze foto maakte ik afgelopen mei op de bruiloft van Paul & Stephanie. ’s Middags was er op het strand tijd voor een paar groepsfoto’s en ik vond de donkere lucht een mooie achtergrond voor een informele foto van de mannen in jacquet. In hun enthousiasme werd ik bijna omver gesprongen, maar juist deze foto bleek uiteindelijk meer verrassend dan de foto’s die ik daarna maakte.

Woohooo! Great news: my photo is nominated for the Bruidsfotoaward, a Dutch wedding photography contest organised by Bruid & bruidegom magazine.

I made this photo in may 2013 on the weddingday of Paul & Stephanie. In the afternoon, we made some group pictures on the beach and I thought the cloudy sky would make a very cool backdrop for an informal picture of the groom and his friends, all dressed in tails. I let them run and jump a couple of times and on the first attempt they got VERY close (and almost knocked me over 😉 ), but this picture turned out to be way more surprising than the pictures I made afterwards.
